The LG G2 offers some pretty nice camera performance out of the box. Thanks to its 13MP sensor and optical image stabilization, both pictures and 1080p video come out crisp and clean. However, this is XDA and we don’t ever settle for what’s given to us by the OEMs. Instead, we tweak and modify our devices to make them as good as they can possibly be.

XDA Senior Member xdabbeb recently created a handy mod for the LG G2 that gives it substantially improved camera capabilities. The stock camera application available for the device allows it to take 1080p video at 60 fps. But with xdabbeb’s mod, you can now capture 4k Ultra HD video at 30 fps or standard 720p video at 120 fps. In addition, this mod also allows you to enable HDR in your videos, and ISO 1600 for stills. And to add extra polish to your videos, the mod also allows you to enable electronic image stabilization in addition to the hardware optical image stabilization offered by the camera lens.

The mod should be compatible with various variants of the G2 running many different firmware packages. But given how many possibilities there are, it’s best to make sure you have a full Nandroid backup before flashing. Head over to the original thread to boost your G2′s camera capabilities.

A Few days ago, as per information received...Google was about to release SDK for Google Hand Wearable SmartWatches,soon after here we have a small leaked spec info on it... LG-Sourced Smartwatches are expected to hit markets soon enough...

And the Device itself will be powered with a 1.65 Inch IPS Display with a Resolution of 280×280,and  512 MB RAM,4GB Internal Storage and a Unknown CPU.. The OS will be Android,Lets hope..Google wont make it look like what " Nokia " did to Android ..

The SDK will be released at March 26th atmost..Lets wait and watch what Google has to offer against all the smartwatch competitor's...

MediaTek has announced that they have partnered with LG to bring the world’s first triple-SIM 3G smartphones. LG had already launched a triple SIM feature phone, A290 with triple support in India last year. LG starting launching dual SIM Android smartphones last year starting with Optimus Net Dual with a dedicated SIM switch key to switch between either SIM cards easily. This continued in the Optimus L Series and L Series II Range. The Optimus L4 II Dual is the latest Dual SIM Android smartphone from LG, which also comes with a dedicated SIM switch key.

The 3G Triple-SIM technology would let you use all the three SIM cards simultaneously. Users can receive receive calls, transmit data, send SMS messages and remain in standby mode concurrently without consuming excessive battery life. MediaTek is one of the popular chip vendors who offers multi-SIM chipset. The company did not reveal details about the chipset or modem that would be used in the upcoming Triple SIM 3G smartphones developed by LG. However it revealed that the smartphones would have built-in user interface to directly adjust or turn off the multi-SIM function.

LG did not reveal when they would show off their triple-SIM 3G smartphones. We can probably expect it at the MWC 2013 in the next L Series range.

The LG Optimus L7 got the Android 4.1 update in India back in May, now LG has started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Optimus L5 (E612) users in India.  The Optimus L5 was announced back in February 2012 and released in India last June. The software version is JZO54K similar to the other countries and the software version is V20c. All the L Series II devices that were launched recently run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.

LG announced the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update schedule for high-end devices in Korea last year. The Optimus 4X HD got the update in Europe last month and the Optimus L9 got the Android 4.1 update in India recently. The Jelly Bean update for the Optimus L5 would bring better browser, better notifications, Google Now and several UI enhancements.

The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Optimus L5 is available through the LG PC Suite and is about 370 MB.

The LG Optimus L4 II Dual (E445) that got priced on the official LG India website last month is now available in India from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. The L4 II dual was announced back in May along with the Optimus L4 II. It has a 3.8-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6575 and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, dual SIM support with dual standby and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the other dual SIM L Series II devices.
