A Few days ago, as per information received...Google was about to release SDK for Google Hand Wearable SmartWatches,soon after here we have a small leaked spec info on it... LG-Sourced Smartwatches are expected to hit markets soon enough...

And the Device itself will be powered with a 1.65 Inch IPS Display with a Resolution of 280×280,and  512 MB RAM,4GB Internal Storage and a Unknown CPU.. The OS will be Android,Lets hope..Google wont make it look like what " Nokia " did to Android ..

The SDK will be released at March 26th atmost..Lets wait and watch what Google has to offer against all the smartwatch competitor's...

Earlier today, Google updated its support pages to state that one month from now, Google Wallet will drop support for Tap & Pay functionality on devices running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and below. This may be somewhat of a surprise for many, but it is highly likely that this is due to the NFC changes that were introduced with KitKat.

For those who don’t recall, Android 4.4 brought changes to the way NFC worked to make an NFC Secure Element unnecessary for Google Wallet Tap & Pay functionality. This is, of course, Host Card Emulation, and it can be assumed that Google only wishes to use HCE going forward. However, not all devices support HCE. And as such, not all devices running 4.4 will have access to Tap & Pay. Currently this includes the Galaxy Note 3, Nexus 7 (2012), and HTC Evo 4G LTE. Additionally, devices still on Android 4.3 that currently have access to Wallet but have not yet been updated to 4.4 (e.g. Galaxy Nexus) will be left out in the cold.

While this may be upsetting for some–namely Galaxy Nexus owners who currently have access but will lose functionality–it’s understandable for Google to want to streamline the functionality for other devices.

It’s no secret that wearable technology is the new “it thing” for 2014. Looking back at this year’s CES only reinforces this, as we saw quite a few new players like Omate and new versions of old favorites like the Pebble Steel. Looking back to when Android 4.4 was on the verge of release, we discussed a report speculating that KitKat would (among other things) bring an increased focus on wearable technology. KitKat has now been available on various consumer devices for nearly two-and-a-half months, and we haven’t heard much in the way of official support from the big GOOG, but this is about to change.

Today at SXSW, Google SVP of Android and Chrome Sundar Pichai said that Google is approximately two weeks away from releasing a developer SDK to make it easier for OEMs to create wearables that run on Android OS. While there was unfortunately no mention of the rumored LG Nexus Watch that keeps popping up in the digital tech tabloids every now and then, this is still exciting news, as current Android-based Smartwatch efforts like the Galaxy Gear haven’t yet found much commercial success.

There is unfortunately very little known about what the SDK will entail other than standardization for common protocols by which devices and their sensors can communicate with the OS. However, it is undoubtedly a great first step in bringing smartwatches to the masses.

While Android-powered gaming devices haven’t exactly replaced modern consoles in the quest for your living room-based entertainment needs, they’re certainly gaining steam. While this essentially started with the Ouya, there are now many other Android-based gaming systems available such as the Nvidia Shield and the Madcatz MOJO. Google, however, has been curiously absent in this arena, but that may change faily soon.

Yesterday, Google acquired parts of Santa Clara-based Green Throttle Games. The company, which met its untimely demise four months ago, sold a custom wireless gaming controller that allowed for couch-friendly Android gaming. Many details surrounding the acquisition and its terms have yet to come to light, but we do know that the acquisition includes some of the talent from Green Throttle Games.

It’s nice to see Google take some initiative to bolster its gaming, regardless of how far off the fruits of this acquisition may be. Is an Android-based gaming console something that interests you, or are you more content with a PS4 and/or Xbox One? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Google has rolled out a new design for their Google Play website that brings new card-like UI. This looks similar to the Google Play for Android v4 that was released back in April. The new Play Store redesign for the web was announced at Google I/O back in May. Google says that the  new design would make it easier to browse and discover new favorites. The new Play Store is also responsive design that adjusts automatically when you adjust the browser’s width. It also shows all the info in a single pane instead of showing dividing it using different panes.

This brings a new navigation panel on the left top corner  for Apps, Movies, Books and Devices. It also adds My wishlist and options to redeem gift card, but sadly gift cards are not available in India. When you click the navigation tab, it opens up in a separate link. There are also separate categories such as Games inside the Apps tab. The My apps section lists the apps that are installed in your device. You can no longer uninstall the apps from your devices via the web store. It just says Installed, if you have installed the app and you cannot see which apps are installed on specific devices.
